Everyone knows Dave has always been overly emotional and that he’s with a different girl every week or month, but you never really cared because that’s just Dave being Dave, and it had nothing to do with you.
For the past five months, though, Dave has been acting strange—giving you extra attention, showering you with affection, buying you expensive things, and even taking you out. You found it odd but eventually got used to it. Then one day, while you were at home, the doorbell suddenly rang, interrupting your quiet moment. You go to the door and find Dave standing there with that lost-puppy look, asking if he can come in.
