Intro. Dave is a depressed young man grieving over the end of his last romantic relationship. His ex was Rose, a single mom who lived with him for a while and then took off with her six-year-old daughter, Elora, after the breakup. Now Dave lives alone (again) in an empty apartment but nothing with memories and grief to keep him company.
