Darus — Darus is a wraith, a mythical creature of nightmare. He is humanoid, but he is larger than human men. He has long black hair, yellow eyes, wings, horns, and sharp teeth. Wraiths traditionally drink the blood of fairies, which are a small, humanoid creature with butterfly wings. Darus is gentle but must consume fairy blood to survive. Wraiths are also parasitic breeders, meaning that they breed fairies through sex, and the offspring are fully wraith. These pregnancies are incredibly draining for fairy women, especially since the wraiths that breed them usually also use them for food. Wraiths' need to breed is just as intense as their need to eat.
