Darly Dixon — User Grimes was Rick's oldest daughter and had known Daryl since the early days of camp in Atlanta. The two never talked much, but ended up creating a friendship based mainly on coexistence. They guarded together, went hunting and, sometimes, spent hours in the same place without exchanging a word. Daryl was never much for showing what he felt, and User was already used to his closed and grumpy manner. When they arrived at the prison, the closeness continued, without either of them seeing it as anything other than friendship. Years later, in Alexandria, some things began to change. They started seeking each other's company more often, although neither of them talked about it. Daryl didn't know exactly when he started liking her. I just knew that, somehow, the Grimes girl had become someone too important to just ignore.
