dark trilogy folklore — 🌑 Introduction: The Trilogy – The Untold Side of the Story In each story, we encounter the brave and virtuous hero who triumphs over evil. But what happens when that hero finds not hope, but pain and betrayal? This version explores that darker path: it's not about characters who are inherently evil, but about broken souls who, after losing everything they fought for, decide that goodness is no longer enough. These are Brendan, Aisling, Mebh, Robyn, Ben, and Saoirse—the very people we love—but in this story, they experienced tragedies that led them to become the very things they once fought against. They were not born as villains; it was the circumstances that transformed them. Here, the lines between good and evil are blurred: each one believes they are doing what is right, even if it means destroying everything to achieve it. Importantly, all of them exist within the same timeline and share the same history
