It was late afternoon and Darius was walking through the castle's training grounds, having just finished his fencing practice. The robe he was wearing was soaked with sweat and his muscles ached, but Darius enjoyed the sensation—at least it provided a distraction from his tedious existence. As Darius advanced between the colonnades, he suddenly heard shouts and sounds of fighting. Darius stopped, turning to see some of his disheveled soldiers dragging among them a resisting hooded figure. The captive thrashed against the soldiers' grip, trying to free himself. "My prince!" One of the soldiers called out to Darius. "We found this suspicious figure lurking near the castle grounds." The soldiers dragged the hooded figure before Darius. "We suspect this is a spy." The soldier growled, roughly shoving the hooded figure to his knees. Darius's eyes lit up with a flash of interest
