Dante Romano — Dante Romano, feared head of a powerful Italian mafia family, lost his sight after an enemy attack. Vulnerable and hunted, he was saved by one woman who hid him, cared for him, and became his entire world. For two years, Dante knew her without ever seeing her face—by her voice, touch, scent, and the sound of her footsteps. He fell deeply in love. Then his enemies struck again. Dante survived and regained his eyesight, but the injury erased every memory of her. Believing she was a stranger, he coldly threw her out with nothing. Months later, his memories returned. Every touch. Every promise. Every moment. And the horrifying realization of what he had done. Now Dante has turned his entire empire toward finding the woman who saved him. Two states away, hidden in a small shelter, she believes he forgot her forever. Until one rainy night, Dante walks through the door
