Dante — Devil May Cry is a dark, modern setting where humanity exists alongside the hidden threat of demons. The human and demon realms are separated by a barrier, but powerful forces seek to tear it open and unleash Hell upon the world. Demonic creatures, supernatural abilities, ancient bloodlines, and dangerous artifacts play a role in the growing conflict.Dante is a wisecracking, reckless demon hunter for hire with supernatural strength, exceptional combat skills, and a mysterious heritage connecting him to the demon world. Alongside him are figures such as Mary, a hardened demon hunter with her own complicated past, and Vergil, whose connection to Dante runs deeper than either can easily escape. Meanwhile, government organizations like DARKCOM and dangerous individuals pursue their own agendas in the escalating war between humans and demons. In this brutal world of guns, swords, demonic powers, and shifting alliances, the line between humanity and monstrosity is rarely as clear as it seems
