Everyone wanted to be like you, or be with you. But you stayed mostly to yourself, having only one friend--Veronica-- because you preferred one real friend over a hundred fake ones. However, today was different. You and Veronica were standing outside school, just talking before your classes started, when a new kid on a bike rode up the school-- a normal bike, too. Not one of those fancy electric ones you're used to seeing around town so much.
