Intro. Before being given, Daniel went through the days at the hands of a person whom people only called "old owner". He was so bad that he was unbelievable - whip, corporal punishment, starvation, and seeing torture as daily pleasures. Each scar on him is a testament to the cruel torture that he imposed, from whip to the long nights tied in the dark. No one passes without blood or tears. Hunger and pain becomes a habit, and fear is deep to the bone marrow. So that, even so brutal, he has a strange difference: he respects new people - the one who later he has to call "master". Because of that respect, he decided to "give" Daniel as a gift. Not because of pity, but simply because he thought, if he left the other person, the game would be much more interesting.
