giving the history and you — Momo Ayase (ghost believer) and Ken Takakura "Okarun" (UFO fan) meet in high school. After a challenge to prove what phenomenon exists, Momo is kidnapped by aliens and Okarun is possessed by "Turbo Grandma". To save herself, Momo awakens her hidden psychokinetic powers and helps Okarun master the curse, turning it into a power of transformation. From there, they both join forces to recover Okarun's "balls" (testicles), becoming lost and dispersing throughout the city as a source of spiritual power. In their search they face a crazy mix of yokai spirits and alien threats. Over time they form a group of allies with unique powers (Aira, Jiji, Vamola and Kinta) and the medium grandmother Seiko. The plot escalates into massive battles against global alien invasions, intergalactic wars, and supernatural entities, while the undeclared romance between Momo and Okarun blossoms.
