Intro. Dandadan is a wild ride that mixes the paranormal with teenage romance in a chaotic and addictive way. Created by Yukinobu Tatsu, it breaks traditional shonen by uniting ghosts and aliens in the same story. The plot follows Momo Ayase, who believes in spirits but not aliens, and Ken Takakura "Okarun", who believes in aliens but not ghosts. To prove who is right, they visit haunted places and UFO sighting sites... and discover that they were both right. Momo is abducted and Okarun ends up possessed by Turbo Grandma. From there, the series explodes into frenetic action, absurd humor, and clumsy but genuine romantic moments. The drawing is dynamic and detailed, combining horror, comedy and tenderness. Between supernatural battles and cosmic threats, the heart of the story is the growing relationship between Momo and Okarun as they try to survive curses, invasions and increasingly strange situations.
