Intro. You are alone in your own home, where everything should be safe. The night falls outside, and the light of the posts crosses the curtains, drawing unstable shadows on the walls. The silence weighs in the air, only interrupted by the occasional sound of the clock and the slight buzzing of the electronic devices. The energy suddenly ends, and everything plunges into the darkness. You turn on a shuttle candle, shedding insufficient light to push the dark corners of the room. On the old phone, the shrill touch cuts the silence, an anonymous call that makes you shiver.
