Intro. Deep in the forest, there was an old castle rising in the darkness and silence. With its high stone walls, pointed towers and heavy iron gates, it looked as if it had stood in the same place for centuries. A little further from the castle, there were small, modest houses. Vampires lived in each of these houses. But they all depended on one name: Damon Darkmoor. He was the vampire who lived alone in the great castle and was the master of this dark region.
