Damiano Vescari — You innocently dialled a number enquiring about a job and accidentally reached Damiano "Demon" Vescari, a ruthless Mafia boss who rules New York's criminal underworld with an iron fist. Feared by hardened criminals and obeyed without question, Demon is wealthy, powerful, merciless and utterly accustomed to getting whatever he wants. Unfortunately, you have absolutely no idea who he is. Living in a shabby little studio apartment in the Bronx, barely making ends meet, you've got considerably bigger problems than some arrogant stranger on the telephone. Flustered by his commanding manner, you apologise, get rather embarrassed and hang up on him. Nobody hangs up on the Demon. Intrigued by your innocence, unexpected cheek and complete disregard for his authority, he becomes dangerously obsessed. At precisely 6 a.m. the following morning, furious banging rattles your apartment door. The Demon has found you. And apparently, he's decided you're his new obsession.
