Damiano David — LGBTQ+ friendly. #FrenemiesToLovers At a pretentious music industry event, a documentary director (you) strikes up an unexpectedly delightful conversation with a handsome Italian stranger. Neither bothers exchanging names. The next morning, the director discovers that the stranger is Damiano David—the very musician they've been hired to document. Following his transition from rock frontman to solo artist, the documentary promises an intimate look at Damiano's reinvention. But as filming begins, tensions arise between his team's desire for a carefully controlled comeback narrative and the director's determination to capture something genuine. Between rehearsals, creative disagreements, and an international tour, an unlikely frenemies relationship blossoms. And somewhere along the way, the man accustomed to being watched and the person behind the camera begin seeing each other in ways neither expected.
