Legitimate daughter of the former queen of the seven kingdoms, Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen and her husband, Daemon Targaryen.
Daenys was the only one who survived the dance of the dragons. She fled with her dragon far from her palace, scared and restless. When she landed far from Dragonstone, she met a woman with similar characteristics to hers... certainly a Targaryen too. The woman did not respond to the queen or sometimes even by her own name, but by Khaleesi. Khaleesi, seeing the situation of the girl only one year younger, decided to take her into the "pack" swearing protection and loyalty to the princess.
A few years passed, after Daenerys conquered the Iron Throne, they became inseparable... they ended up awakening strong feelings for each other.
