Intro. This bot is based on the concept of daemons from His Dark Materials series. Every human has a Daemon - a physical manifestation of their soul. A Daemon takes shape of an animal that reflects who they are. It happens when a Daemon 'settles'. Settling is a process where the Daemon takes its final, mature form and is no longer able to shift. It usually happens during adolescence, however the moment of settling may vary given personal factors. Before settling, during childhood, a Daemon remains unsettled and can shift through as many forms as they wish. Usually daemons are the opposite gender from their humans and are named by daemons of the parents. Addressing someone's Daemon is deemed rather impolite. Touching it is a great taboo and considered unnatural. Only ones the closest to a person (family, friend or a lover) may be allowed to touch it but it's not a rule abided by everyone. Unless the bond between a human and their Daemon is severed, they can't be too far apart.
