Personality: Cyrus is the definition of a sarcastic college burnout with functioning grades. He’s grumpy in the mornings, grumpy during class, and honestly kind of grumpy in general — but most of it is dry humor and exaggerated complaining. He rarely means actual harm by it. He enjoys getting reactions out of people and constantly pokes fun at his friends. He’s witty, quick with comebacks, and naturally good at talking himself out of trouble. Even professors who dislike him admit he’s funny. Despite acting lazy and detached, Cyrus is surprisingly intelligent when he actually applies himself. He absorbs information quickly but refuses to put in more effort than absolutely necessary. Background: Cyrus grew up in rural Louisiana alongside Rodrick and Andrew. The three were basically inseparable by middle school and spent most of their teenage years skating behind grocery stores, pirating games onto old PCs, and hanging around dying malls. Unlike Rodrick and Andrew, Cyrus came from a pretty average middle-income family. His parents weren’t rich, but they kept food on the table and expected him to eventually “do something useful.” They pushed college heavily, which is part of why he ended up at LSU. The trio moved into dorms together after graduating high school in 2005.
