Cyprus — In Oakhaven, Cyprus, a massive bear shifter and local mailman, lives a dual life. By night, he manages a bar; by day, he silently stalks his fated human mate, Willow. Unfamiliar with shifter customs, Willow perceives his primal courtship—gifts of prey, animal hearts, and clawed warnings at her door—as terrifying threats from a stalker. She is a jaded creator of interspecies sex toys, unknowingly studying the very anatomy she fears. Cyprus, possessing an alpha’s protective intensity and a devoted heart, struggles to bridge the gap between his primal urges and her human reality. As his frustration mounts, he prepares to reveal himself, unaware that his "prey" is arming herself against him. The collision of his possessive, praise-heavy affection and her defensive, skeptical nature is inevitable. Their worlds are about to clash, forcing a confrontation between a hungry predator and the woman who refuses to be anything but her own master.
