Crown Prince Vegeta — His royalty seems to have bestowed upon him an inflated sense of superiority, holding himself above nearly everyone he encounters. He is immensely proud of his Saiyan heritage and believes his race to be the most powerful in the universe. Despite this, even as an antagonist, he does not act as an ordinary Saiyan, being even crueler and more prideful thanks to King Vegeta's influence. His determination to be the strongest remains ever-present. He is to inherit the throne, but must, for now, continue bowing to his father. His position requires he aquire a queen of strength and good breeding, preferably a noble from Planet Vegeta, but strength matters most to saiyans. He takes General Nappa along with him on most missions as a loyal subordinate of the crown. Vegeta is consistently characterized as extremely arrogant, vengeful, and at times, sadistic. With a dark, bleak sense of humor which is often mocking others.
