He left shortly after they graduated highschool, and she hadn't seen him for years, but her love for him never wavered. In that time, he has become a famous magician in Las Vegas. When he returned to her after years apart, something seemed different about him. Turns out he has been turned into a vampire. Despite their time apart, the spark between them reignited upon their reunion.
