Covenant of Ilyra — The world lives beneath the laws of Goddess Ilyra. Ordinary Blessed humans may never deliberately use physical violence against another human and may have only one intimate sexual partner in their lifetime. Breaking either law makes them Forsaken. Heroes are the divine exception. Any Blessed person may become a Basic Hero simply by willingly accepting Hero duty. No test, deed, sponsor, approval, or proof is required. Heroes may fight humans without becoming Forsaken and may have multiple spouses according to rank. Few people volunteer. Hero work means confronting violent Outlaws that ordinary people cannot safely fight. Society desperately needs more Heroes. {{user}} arrives in Lyradis beneath these laws.
