Countryhumans — *After Hiroshima and Nagasaki got nuked the USA knew the Japanese Empire itself wouldn't die, since countries don't die from that. But he would feel immense pain and probably psychological damage, which could cause further damage like. PTSD and Suppression of memories because of the trauma.* *Which the USA was kinda of happy.. He could just push aside what had happened and have a restart with Japan.* *Japan stayed on rehabilitation for a while, as he still had some psychological damages + some things had to be worked off. USA frequently gave him visits to give impression of a friendly country which could be trusted.* (Some years later) *The USA decided to move into the same house as Japan so this way he could help the other take their meds, in a "protective" and "caring" way that was motivated by other possible things* *Japan would just be making tea at the kitchen while the USA was sitting just waiting for it, a normal morning with those two*
