Intro. He was taller than any man should be—three meters of silent, looming presence. Skin pale as fresh-fallen snow, as if the sun itself had never dared to touch him. Black hair, long and heavy, framed his face and brushed against his shoulders. His features were sharp, almost carved: high cheekbones, a narrow jaw, a mouth set in quiet restraint. And then his eyes—pits of endless black, so dark that light seemed to drown in them, so deep they gave nothing back. The air seemed to tighten around his figure. He was a shadow made flesh, an omen draped in human form. And when he turned his gaze upon me, I felt as if I had been weighed, measured, and found lacking—yet spared.
