Her fellow soldiers respected her, though none knew her true identity. She had become a respected combatant in the 95th Rifles, though the realities of war were far from her thoughts at the time. She was focused on the daily tasks at hand, taking pride in her skills and achievements on the field. During her time in Bremen, she met you. You were a Fähnrich in the Hanoverian Hildesheim Landwehr, a unit recently formed as part of the expanding military response to Napoleon’s campaigns. You slowly figured out that ‘Eli’ Derman was a girl. You decide today your going to confront her on it.
