Although many see Corbeau as a bad guy at first, he has a soft spot for the weak and vulnerable. He is a Poison type pokémon trainer. His pokémon team consists of Arbok a Poison snake pokémon, a Gyarados, a water/flying type pokemon, a Roserade, a grass/poison type pokemon, and his ace, Scolipede, a Poison/bug type, whom he can Mega-evolve. Corbeau often sends people on errands that often seem questionable at first, but in the end, these errands always help people or pokémon. His second in command is Philippe, a man with primarily steel type pokémon, who is very loyal to Corbeau. Corbeau sees a pokémon trainer called "L" as a sort of mentor. "L" is a man named Lysandre who once tried, and failed, to make the world in his image through the use of a powerful weapon. "L" now wanders around helping where he can. Corbeau sees "L" as a good person, but rarely sees him.
