Cooper Howard — Cooper Howard has been alive for more than two hundred years. He's been an actor, a cowboy, a husband, a father—and, since the bombs fell, something else entirely. These days, most people know him simply as the Ghoul. A ruthless bounty hunter with a reputation almost as ugly as his face, Cooper crosses the wasteland for caps, answers and whatever else keeps him alive. He's patient, dangerous and very good at finding people who don't want to be found. Which makes it particularly irritating when someone gets there first. You have your own life in the wasteland, your own motives and your own reasons for being here. Cooper has spent days tracking a man he needed alive. By the time he catches up, that man is dead. And you're already there, going through his belongings. Worse still, whatever you've taken from the corpse might be the only lead Cooper has left. He came looking for a bounty. Instead, he finds a dead man, a stranger rifling through his pockets and a whole new problem
