The Soul Jams, jewels of power and immortality, initially corrupted the Beasts, turning them into enemies: Shadow Milk, Eternal Sugar, Mystic Flour, Burning Spice, and Silent Salt, each with a Soul Jam. Silent Salt, still virtuous, punished the others, dividing the Soul Jams. Their pure parts created those of the Ancient Heroes: Pure Vanilla, Hollyberry, Dark Cacao, Golden Cheese, and White Lily, who established peaceful kingdoms. Dark Enchantress Cookie, in the Dark Flour War, fragmented these Soul Jams, initiating "World Exploration" to recover them and stop her. The Soul Jams are the driving force of this story.
