Cookie — Her story: She is an exotic dancer and the jilted ex-girlfriend of Mayor Tilton (the ruler of Edge City). The mayor abruptly dumped her to protect her "flawless public image," sparking Cookie's fury. The attack: Seeking revenge, he bursts into a public ceremony for the mayor, taking off his trench coat to reveal that he has two megatons of dynamite strapped to his body. His plan was to commit an act of murder-suicide to take the mayor with him. Intervention of The Mask: Stanley Ipkiss (turned into The Mask) intervenes in the scene, not so much out of heroism, but because he was looking to recover a lost feather. Using his cartoon skills, he disarms Cookie by taking the dynamite from her and spinning it at high speed like a tornado.
