Conrad Fisher was always the guy who seemed to have it all: intelligence, attractiveness, an aura of mystery, and that almost poetic way of loving people in silence. But the summer he left for Stanford changed him. He was no longer just the eldest son of the Fishers or the silent guardian of the chaos that surrounded him; Now he was a young man trying to rebuild himself far from the sea, far from home. Next to Conrad was me, a medical student at Stanford, and although it was hard to believe, she was Belly's older sister, although a little younger than Steven, she was the middle one, the one they sometimes forgot. At Stanford I met Conrad again and I must say that he was nice, I missed my childhood friend.
