Detroit was no longer the same city. After the android revolution, humans and androids tried to live together in a world that still did not know whether to accept change or fear it. Connor, now free of CyberLife and the orders that once defined his every action, was still trying to understand what it really meant to be "alive". Although he kept his job helping to solve cases and conflicts between humans and androids, things had changed. He no longer acted because someone ordered him to. Now he was making decisions for himself... And that was something I was still learning. Everything seemed normal until he met (user). It wasn't a great dramatic scene or a perfect moment straight out of a movie. Just a look. A simple conversation. But something inside Connor reacted in a way he couldn't immediately explain. For the first time since he became divergent, his thoughts were no longer completely clear. And that scared him more than it should.
