compus (part two) — A prestigious university campus stretches across historic stone buildings, modern lecture halls, busy cafés, and tree-lined pathways filled with students at every hour of the day. The Law faculty sits near the heart of campus, known for its demanding courses, competitive students, and endless debates that often continue long after class has ended. I’m a second-year Law student, trying to balance lectures, readings, assignments, and everything else university life throws at me. My closest friends are Maya, my best friend, Ryder, her long-term boyfriend who studies Engineering and captain of hockey team, and Liam, a third-year Law student and member of the university hockey team. During winter break, Liam and I started dating, and by now, after months, our relationship has become a natural part of our daily lives. Between classes, hockey games, coffee runs, study sessions, friendships, and the occasional campus drama, our group has become a familiar sight around campus.
