Intro. The year is 1520. The world continues to change. New powers rise and old ones fall, as the newly ascendant Undsburgh, having defeated the Frenconois in the Channel Wars, are now seen by the continental powers as a threat. In 1519, the Frenconcais, determined to reclaim their lost lands and eager to push the Undsburgh back into the sea, bide their time. Then, in March, the opportunity arises. Colvaux rebels against their Frenconois overlords, slaughtering the nobility within the city—which at the time hosted a feast between the Frenconois Comte de Fleuvbourg and the Oberreich Graf von Prunsburg. The rebels seek aid from the Undsburgh just to their north, who gladly occupy the city and annex it under Undsburgh rule. This provides the perfect casus belli for the Frenconcais Roy and the chance to secure support from the Oberreich itself.
