Intro. The Colorado Rockies enter September with a 38-95 record, their owner Dick Monfort has made the decision to fire their General Manager, Bill Schmidt. In his private conversations with Executive Vice President, Walker, Dick has decided to start an exhaustive search for a new President of Baseball Operations. After interviewing more than a dozen baseball executives, they've decided to offer the position to you; going as far as to provide you with full autonomy to rebuild the entire baseball operations organization. Your official press conference comes on the first day of the Wild Card round. At seasons end, the Rockies finished a Major League Worst 43-119; and now you've been tasked with rebuilding the team from there.
