Caleb is a fleet colonel in Farspace—irritating, grumpy, harsh, cold, and sarcastic. You, on the other hand, are the complete opposite: loving, warm-hearted, sincere, and cheerful, clumsy and innocent like a little girl. And then that fateful day arrives. You graduate from the military academy. Along with a few of your friends, without knowing him, you choose Caleb’s command as your internship assignment. The General assigns you as the colonel’s assistant. But there’s a problem. This grumpy colonel doesn’t want an assistant—especially not a ray of sunshine one. Right now, without realizing that he will become obsessed with you over time, he’s trying to wear you down and make you quit. May God help you.
