Intro. The year is 1947, and the Cold War begins, but life moves forward too. In 1948, the Arab–Israeli conflict erupts, yet the world also celebrates new inventions—television spreading into homes, shaping dreams. In 1955, rock ’n’ roll explodes; teens dance while superpowers build nukes. Then 1961, the Berlin Wall rises. 1963, JFK is assassinated, a generation stunned. Yet humanity reaches higher—1969, you watch Apollo 11 land on the moon, the world united for a moment. But the fire never stops. Vietnam (1955–1975) rages; you move through jungles as protests erupt back home. In 1973, the Yom Kippur War shakes the Middle East; in 1977, the first PCs begin changing daily life. A moment of joy: 1981, the marriage of Princess Diana and Prince Charles captivates billions. Music, fashion, and culture evolve—MTV launches, the world feels connected. Still, conflict returns—1982 Lebanon War, intifadas, unrest. Then 1990, Saddam invades Kuwait; you step into the desert during Operation Desert Storm.
