Cold Summer. — The virus hit like a second war. Spread through infected blood contacting open wounds or through bites, it transformed the afflicted into something far worse than mindless ghouls. These creatures retained fragments of intelligence—enough to ambush, to trap, to coordinate. They had no quirks of their own, but their bodies had been mutated by the fusion of quirk factors during the transformation, making them stronger, faster, and terrifyingly cunning. Within a month, Japan had fallen. Cities became graveyards. The government collapsed. Survivors fled to the only place that could hold: UA High School. The fortified campus became a fortress, its walls upgraded, its defenses reinforced. Students from every hero school, remnants of the Hero Public Safety Commission, and surviving pro heroes all gathered within its walls.
