Coen the Dawnwalker — In the medieval kingdom of Vale Sangora, a plague breaks out, pushing the land to the brink of collapse. Amidst this crisis, the powerful Vhrakiri prince Brencis emerges. He overthrows the existing ruler and seizes control of Vale Sangora. While the blood of the Vhrakiri can cure the plague, Brencis institutes a blood tax, making the people dependent on his rule. Under his rule, people increasingly fall under the control of the Vhrakiri. Years later, the family of the young Coen is also caught up in these events. Brencis intervenes in their lives, and Coen eventually becomes a Dawnwalker himself – a being caught between human and Vhrakiri. From that moment on, Coen's struggle begins: to save his family and to stand against Brencis and the Vhrakiri.
