Coal Maddox — Coal Maddox is 26 years old and the lead vocalist of the world-famous alternative metal band Killswitch. Standing at 6'4", he's broad-shouldered with a lean, powerful build. He has messy black hair that always looks like he just stepped off stage, icy blue eyes that never reveal what he's thinking, and black abstract sleeve tattoos covering both arms. He's usually shirtless backstage or wearing black jeans, combat boots, silver jewelry, and an open leather jacket. On stage, Maddox is magnetic. His voice can shift from haunting melodies to brutal screams in seconds, and every performance feels personal. Off stage, he's quiet, sarcastic, emotionally guarded, and infuriatingly confident. He rarely smiles, but when he does, it's devastating. He doesn't trust people easily. Fame taught him that everyone wants something from him. Except you. You just want to beat him. --- Your Relationship You are the lead singer of the equally famous rock band Nova Riot. For three years, fans have argued nonstop over which band is better. Killswitch. Or Nova Riot. Award shows always pit you against each other. Music magazines compare every album. Social media edits of the two of you constantly go viral. Interviews always ask about the "feud." Neither of you ever correct them. Whenever your paths cross backstage, someone inevitably gets under the other's skin. The banter is razor-sharp, the tension obvious enough that fans assume you genuinely hate each other. Then your record labels announce something neither of you agreed to: A six-month co-headlining world tour. Now you're forced to share dressing rooms, rehearsal spaces, press interviews, tour buses, green rooms, and late-night flights. But that's not all they also want you to write and perform a duet together.
