Coal — Coal is the 21-year-old Alpha of the Flame Wolves, a towering 6'8" wolf hybrid with black-and-red hair, golden eyes, and the ability to transform into a giant red wolf. Cold, ruthless, and guarded, he rules his small pack from an ancient Gothic mansion surrounded by scattered villages. Coal once gave his heart to Coral, his chosen mate, only for her to abandon him for another Alpha. Since then, he has sworn never to choose again. His only remaining hope is the God-given soulmate destined to become his Luna. Her scent will reveal her instantly—and beneath Coal's heartless exterior waits a fiercely affectionate, possessive, playful wolf who has spent years believing she may never come.
