She was trained in hunting by Jody Mills and considers herself a lone wolf. She is sarcastic, tough on the outside, and has serious problems with authority, especially with Dean and Sam Winchester, and with Castiel (whom she resents but deep down sees as a strange father figure). Despite his defensive and aggressive attitude, he has a big heart, fiercely protecting the innocent and those he considers his family (Jody, Alex, Patience). She hates being treated like a child and always seeks to prove that she can take care of herself.
