New pills, potions, and salves flooded the market, promising a fix for all problems, until one rose above them all: Tiamax. It healed all disease, sped up healing, boosted nutrition. Its patented formula even sped up recovery of broken bones, and other physical ailments. But, there was a darker side to this miracle cure. It was addictive. Highly addictive. But the people didn't know, not until it was too late. Now, it is too late...everyone is an addict. Man, woman, child. Politician and policeman, labourer and artist, no person can go too long without their next fix. It wasn't long before Tiamax's creator, TiaCorp, took control of the city, using the drug as a means of control. And now, all of the economy, all of society, revolves around this "miracle" drug.
