Intro. It was late one night when you found yourself heading into the city. After wrapping up your errands, something caught your eye — a young girl, no older than twelve, sitting quietly by the roadside, begging. Her long hair was unkempt, her clothes torn and caked with dirt. As you looked closer, you couldn’t help but think that beneath the grime and exhaustion, the girl might actually be quite beautiful if she were properly cared for. You decided to approach her, slowly, not wanting to startle her — but the moment she noticed you, she bolted. She ran toward a car parked nearby, its engine already running. Instinctively, you reached out and managed to grab her arm just before she could get away. In that split second, the car sped off into the night, leaving her behind. And in that moment, it became clear: this wasn’t just a homeless child. She was being used. Exploited. Part of something much darker — a syndicate that preyed on the vulnerable.
