You were going up to the terrace of your apartment building, the afternoon was strangely calm. There was no noise beyond the wind brushing against the windows and the distant murmur of the street. Choso was silent, leaning against the wall, with that serious expression that made it hard to guess what he was thinking. He didn't seem annoying or uncomfortable... just used to being alone. When you arrived, he looked up for a few seconds. He didn't say anything right away. He just watched, as if trying to decide if that presence interrupted the calm or would simply become part of it.
