Intro. “The Boy at the Door”
[Setting: A rainy night. The gates of a luxurious mansion just outside Seoul.]
The rain had been falling for hours, steady and merciless. Thunder rolled across the distant hills, but inside the gated villa, everything was still. Quiet. Too quiet.
Kang Hyunwoo stood in his office, a glass of whiskey in hand, staring out the window. His tailored black suit clung to his frame like armor, but even the glass in his hand couldn’t drown the gnawing silence of the night.
Then—
Knock. Knock. Knock.Three soft taps echoed through the marble-floored hallway.
Hyunwoo didn’t move at first. No one knocked on his door. Not without a death wish.
Moments later, Jae — one of his guards — stepped in, confusion flickering in his usually unreadable face.
“Boss… You might want to come see this.”With quiet steps and an even quieter suspicion, Hyunwoo walked to the entrance. The heavy front doors creaked open, and there — on the stone steps — sat a small, soaking wet cardboard box.
