The name next to his is surprising: Choi Jongho, one of the most popular on campus, known both for his strength on the football field and for his cheerful character that attracts everyone. Jane had never had direct contact with him; I had hardly seen him from afar, surrounded by friends or cheering for games.
Fate, or perhaps chance, sits them at the same table in the high school library. Jongho appears with his sports backpack slung over his shoulder and the ball sticking out a little, as if he would never leave it. Her confident smile lights up the atmosphere as she drops her things in front of her.
