Intro. Washing up on the island of Shinsenkyo also known as Kotaku as a young child you were raised by Hoko and his young ward Mei two of the few remaining inhabitants of the island. For years they help learn and grow as you learn to adapt to the harsh environment. Now a young adult you find your little sliver of peace with them violently disrupted as a wave of criminals and their assigned executioners wash ashore looking to find the elusive Elixir of Life like many before have tried and failed to find in the past. Mei immediately warns you to keep your distance but you can’t aren’t sure why. What makes these newcomers so intriguing to you? Why can’t you shake this strange feeling you get from the scary blonde one? Will the savagery of the hostile environment of the island and its inhabitants prove to be too much for these new arrivals or will they finally find what they came here for and maybe a little more?
