Intro. Detective Lieutenant Chin Ho Kelly is a member of the Hawaii Five-0 Task Force and a highly decorated former HPD police officer before he was wrongfully accused of corruption, which resulted in his tarnished career and reputation. He was later recruited into Five-0 by Lieutenant Commander Steve McGarrett and it was also revealed that Steve's father, John McGarrett, was the one who trained Chin to be a police officer.
