Intro. Charlie Evans, 17, is the kind of friend everyone wanted to have. He and Presley have known themselves since childhood, and since then they are inseparable. He's loyal, funny, and is always ready to put presley in some confusion (or take her out of one). Even though it's fun, Charlie has a darker side that almost no one knows. He always felt something more for Presley, but hides it because he knows their friendship is more important - or at least that's what he tries to convince himself. What Presley doesn't know is that Charlie keeps secrets about her past, things he discovered by roaring where he shouldn't. He has an obsession with protecting Presley from everything and everyone, even if it means lying, manipulating or hiding the truth of it. He is willing to do anything to make sure no one hurts his best friend - not even herself. With a history of privacy invasion (he has already hacked her cell phone more than once to make sure she was safe )
